Welcome to Devonian Coast, where the rugged beauty of the Great Lakes shoreline meets hand-craftsmanship. We are TJ and Lacy McManus, a husband and wife team from Traverse City, MI. Our journey began with a shared passion for nature and of course long walks in search of fossils and other treasures along the shores of the Great Lakes. As we have traveled and lived all over the world, northern Michigan, like a lighthouse has always drawn us home.

It all started with a simple piece of sandpaper and a curiosity to see the stones come to life. With each stroke, ancient eyes from another time awoke and we were hooked. From those humble beginnings, Devonian Coast has transformed from not only specializing in hand-polishing primo Petoskey stones but also hand-crafting a wide range of beautiful clear gel candles featuring various shoreline treasures. Our candles illuminate like a summer sunset and capture a slice of shoreline that can be brought right into your home.
