The harbor town of Leland, Michigan — known as historic Fishtown — is home to the iconic Leland blue stone. Once considered a simple byproduct of iron smelting, these beach-tumbled pieces have become treasured shoreline finds, collected and recognized for their distinctive blue tones.

Hand-crafted in small batches using premium materials, this crystal-clear gel candle features an authentic Leland blue stone displayed front and center, set in real Lake Michigan beach sand and surrounded by hand-picked shoreline stones from Northern Michigan.

Each candle is a one-of-a-kind natural composition. While the exact stones will vary from those pictured, every piece closely represents the same quality and character shown.

THE GEL

We use only high-clarity premium gel wax sourced from the original U.S. patent-holding manufacturer.
Made from purified white mineral oil, it burns cleanly and safely around embedded objects while beautifully showcasing the specimen inside.

CANDLE CARE

• Allow wax to melt fully across during the first burn
• Keep wicks trimmed to 1/4"

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Small air bubbles in gel are normal and clear as the candle warms
• The candle may burn below the featured specimen, but discontinue use when approximately 1/2" of wax remains above the base stones
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
